SOSIALISASI DAN EDUKASI TENTANG PENINGKATAN KESADARAN HUKUM MASYARAKAT DALAM MEMAHAMI SENGKETA HAK MILIK ATAS TANAH DI DESA BANDAR SETIA KECAMATAN PERCUT SEI TUAN

Abstract

Bandar Setia Village is a village that has enormous potential to be developed if the existing programs of the government can be followed up jointly by the local government, the community and universities. Bandar Setia Village has a demographic and topographic location that is very supportive of activities and activities in all forms of community activities such as community service activities for community empowerment programs carried out by lecturers and students can increase solidarity and concern for community conditions, especially those in need of legal assistance.

Property rights are hereditary rights that people can have over land, and property rights can be transferred and transferred to other parties (UUPA). Related to the right of ownership is not limited by time and is given for an unlimited time as long as the right of ownership is still recognized, in the UUPA in Article 27 the right of ownership is nullified if one of the land falls to the state. The phenomenon of property rights over land is very large in the community, especially the community in Bandar Setia Village, Percut Sei Tuan Subdistrict.

Therefore, community service in Bandar Setia Village, Percut Sei Tuan District aimed at the surrounding community to provide socialization and knowledge related to disputes over land property rights.

The method used in this service uses a sociological approach method where the implementation is through counseling and lecture methods while adhering to health protocols in Bandar Setia Village.

The result of this community service is an increase in awareness of the Bandar Setia village community in understanding land title disputes through the role of academics and this activity is carried out so that the community understands and knows the importance of legal awareness.
