Abstract
School is a structured institution where a process of socialization takes place which affects the child's personality and social skills. Schools contain values in people's lives, so they are seen as a place for the transition between education in the family to education in the community. The role of schools is very important in instilling children's moral values in their lives and facing present and future challenges for children. The toughest challenge faced by schools and families for students in this decade is self-control in the use of social media. It is undeniable that life today cannot be separated from the role of technology. Since the country of Indonesia and almost all countries in the world have been hit by the Covid 19 pandemic, it has required various sectors to change from old habits to new habits, namely dominating the use of IT. Stakeholders in the education sector, both teaching staff and students, switched from face-to-face learning systems to virtual face-to-face learning or often called online (in networks). Through online learning, students use cellphones more often as a means of learning, but the problem is that not all students really use these cellphones for learning, most of them only use them only to play games and enjoy social media. Thus the proposing team offers a socialization activity for the use of audio-visual media, namely YouTube shows that are able to instill moral values in elementary school-aged children.
