SOSIALISASI PEMASARAN ONLINE MINYAK KARO DI DESA LINGGA KECAMATAN SIMPANG IV KABUPATEN KARO

Abstract


In Lingga Village, there are SMEs producing spice-based karo oil products. Marketing of these products is still done conventionally, namely selling directly to consumers (through word of mouth) and entrusted to be sold by relatives.
Online marketing is only done through private WhatsApp and has not been done consistently. Therefore, this Community Service program in the form of Online Marketing Training for Local MSME Products held in Lingga Village, Karo Regency is expected to be an alternative solution in helping the target audience in marketing MSME products so that they can further improve their standard of living.
The targets of this Online Marketing Training activity for Local Processed MSME Products are MSME players in Lingga Village, Karo Regency. In the socialization and online marketing training activities, there were 12 (twelve) participants.
Marketing of processed Karo oil products in Lingga Village is still carried out conventionally due to limited knowledge about online marketing. However, through the training provided, there was an increase in their understanding of the importance of online marketing. In addition, there was also a change in mindset regarding online marketing, which was supported by starting to use a professional Instagram account and starting to fill it with MSME product content.
Online marketing training needs to involve certain parties, especially those engaged in digital marketing, so that there is additional information that is more optimal and can be utilized by MSME players in marketing their products. Training and mentoring needs to be done more comprehensively considering that there are many things that need to be understood and practiced in online marketing so that the benefits can really be felt.
