PROGRAM BIMBINGAN BELAJAR MELALUI PERAN KKN TEMATIK MBKM MAHASISWA DI DESA SABUNGAN NIHUTA KABUPATEN SAMOSIR

Abstract


Efforts to raise public awareness about the importance of education through the implementation of tutoring programs as an alternative education for school-age children. This tutoring program is a program to build an educational village from the University of Quality Medan as an implementation of the Tridarma of Higher Education. The method used is active participation and assistance with stages; (1) Observation and mapping of problems; (2) Planning; (3) Program Implementation; (4) Program Evaluation. The findings obtained show that there are many factors that cause school-age children to not be able to read, write and count in the Sabungan Nihuta Village. The results of the tutoring program can be alternative education and can increase children's interest in learning, as well as foster community motivation and awareness in terms of education. The outcome of this community service is ongoing tutoring which is continued by the youth of the Sabungan Nihuta Village who have been equipped with the ability to manage tutoring and capacity as tutors/teachers.
