PELATIHAN MANAGEMEN MEKANISME KELOMPOK TANI BERSAMA PPL DINAS PERTANIAN BPP BARUS JAHE

Abstract

Management training and organizational mechanisms for farmer groups, namely the Barusjahe sub-district, the PPL Office of the BPP Barusjahe Agriculture Service in Karo Regency. The farmer groups in the sub- district are farmer groups assisted by BPP Barusjahe with chili, corn, coffee and horticulture commodities in highland areas and Agroforestry farming, and oil palm, sugar palm and orange plantations, as well as fruit (the superior crop is barangan bananas) .
The problems that exist are therefore carried out by training and socialization of management and mechanisms in this sub-district starting from land function experts, transferring land to outside parties so that a lot of agricultural land is damaged (critical land) due to limited human resources in farming, receiving training from agricultural instructors and also many agricultural tools that are incomplete and inadequate for use on agricultural land (Ismail Solihin, 2009).
The author's aim in this research is to determine the implementation of management and mechanisms in the Barusjahe BPP with assisted Farmer Groups in Karo Regency. Researchers use qualitative methods and the type of research is field research.
In collecting data, the author used the interview method, observation method, and documentation method. The population of this study was the collaboration of lecturers from the University of Quality and the PPLOffice of the BPP Barusjahe Agricultural Service in Karo Regency. While the supporters of this research amounted to 3 students. The sample in this study was taken using the snowball sampling technique.
