PENYULUHAN SOSIAL DAN HUKUM SERTA KEPENDIDIKAN TENTANG BODY SHAMING TERHADAP KESIAPAN REMAJA NUSA PUTRA TANJUNG MORAWA MEDAN MENGHADAPI ZAMAN MILLENIAL

Abstract


Commenting on other people's physicalities or what can be called body shaming is indeed common around us. We can be victims or perpetrators without realizing it. Because body shaming is part of bullying which is an act of violence that can be done in the form of verbal violence. In Indonesia, there are many cases that have been reported. In 2018 in Indonesia there were around 966 cases of body shaming reported. The highest number tends to be carried out by mothers and adolescents with the acquisition rate of 62.07%. In dealing with body shaming, victims must report it to the authorities because now the law is in place with the aim of deterring the perpetrators. In addition, victims should look for a positive environment that respects themselves and can fight against the perpetrators with a positive attitude. And teenagers, especially teenagers in Nusa Putra Tanjung Morawa Medan, can also avoid body shaming behavior through smart use of gadgets especially in this millennial era, thus we have tried to reduce the impact of body shaming.
