Pendampingan Belajar Bagi Siswa Sekolah Dasar pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Desa Lambar Kecamatan Tiga Panah

Abstract


The education policy was issued because world health conditions caused by the COVID-19 outbreak made all activities use technology, for example through online media. Online media is one of the real evidences as to the development of globalization, namely the globalization of world languages. All online media use English as the international language of instruction, although there are some local online media that can still use a communication language that is understood by their users. The language of online media, from searching for information on websites to games that are popular with students, all of which use English as the language of instruction, often becomes an obstacle when using these online media.

The development of globalization makes English not only for online media but also as a means of direct communication. It can be seen that Karo Regency has become one of the tourist destinations that the Tourism Office has begun to look at and develop. Even students are equipped with English lessons at school and English courses are opened to help the quality of students' education in English.
