Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF THE TALKING STICK LEARNING MODEL ON INDONESIAN LANGUAGE LEARNING OUTCOMES CLASS V UPT SD COUNTRY 067246 MEDAN DISTRICT T.P PROFITS 2022/2023 ABSTRACT He research was conducted at UPT SD Negeri 067246 Medan Tuntungan District. This study aims to (1) find out student learning outcomes in the Indonesian subject of fiction text material after using the Talking Stick Learning Model, (2) find out student learning outcomes in the Indonesian subject of fiction text material after using conventional learning, (3) know there is a significant effect on the Talking Stick Learning Model on Indonesian language learning outcomes UPT SD Negeri 067246 Medan Tuntungan District for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. Many of the samples in this study were 60 students in class VA and class VB. This type of research is quasi-experimental and the assessment is a test in the form of an essay test with 5 questions that have been validated by the validator. Before the two classes were given post test questions, they were given a pre test first to determine student abilities. The average score for class VA is 48.7 and the average score for class VB is 52.5. After the two classes carried out different learning, the average score for the VA class using the Talking Stick Learning Model was 82, and the average score for the VB class using Conventional Learning was 77, so the average value of students used the Talking Stick Learning Model higher than the average value of students using conventional learning. Testing the hypothesis using the independent test formula between the two factors so that the final test data for class VA and class VB are obtained, namely tcount = 5.51 > ttable = 2.01. Because t_count>t_table, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using the Talking Stick Learning Model on learning outcomes of Indonesian language fiction test material for class V UPT SD Negeri 067246 Medan Tuntungan District, Academic Year 2022/2023.
