Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Mind Mapping terhadap retensi belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 101814 peria-ria Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Lokasi penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 101814 peria-ria pada tanggal 24-25 Januari 2024 sebagai subyeknya 22 orang kelas IV-A dan jumlah kelas IV –B 22 orang. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuntitatif yang mengacu pada jenis pendekatan penelitian ini quasi eksperimen dengan intrumen penelitian adalah tes essay sebanyak 5 soal. Sebelum melakukan pembelajaran nilai tes awal kelas IV-A = 33,5 dan nilai rata-rata kelas iv-b = 35,45 . setelah dilaksanakan pembelajaran pada kelas V-A menggunakan metode Mind Mapping dan setelah dilakukan tes akhir siswa memperoleh rata-rata 81,06. Sedangkan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas IV-B dengan menggunakan metode konvensional memperoleh 71,81. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pembelajaran Mind Mapping berpengaruh terhadap retensi belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 101814 peria ria Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024.
