Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran Kahoot terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di SD Negeri 105401 Namo Linting Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pra-eksperimen dan desain One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 25 siswa kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket motivasi belajar yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah penerapan media pembelajaran Kahoot. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan membandingkan hasil pretest dan posttest untuk melihat perubahan motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran Kahoot memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari meningkatnya skor motivasi belajar siswa setelah diterapkannya media Kahoot dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran Kahoot dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menyenangkan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar.

| Uncontrolled Keywords: | This study aims to determine the effect of using Kahoot as a learning media on the learning motivation of fifth-grade students in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) at State Elementary School 105401 Namo Linting in the 2025/2026 academic year. This research employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method with a One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 25 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through a learning motivation questionnaire administered before and after the implementation of Kahoot learning media. The collected data were analyzed by comparing the pretest and posttest results to identify changes in students’ learning motivation. The results of the study indicate that the use of Kahoot learning media has a positive and significant effect on students’ learning motivation. This is evidenced by an increase in students’ motivation scores after the application of Kahoot in IPAS learning. Therefore, Kahoot can be used as an interactive and enjoyable alternative learning media to enhance elementary school students’ learning motivation. | ||||||||||||
