Abstract
Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran video animasi berbasis Powtoon dengan materi Do You Like Swimming? pada mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris kelas III UPT SPF SDN 101854 Sei Mencirim. Penelitian ini dilakukan juga untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan dan kepraktisan pengembangan media pembelajaran video animasi berbasis Powtoon. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode PPE yang mencakup 3 tahapan yaitu Planning (Perencanaan), Production (Produksi), Evaluation (Evaluasi). Untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan penelitian ini divalidasi oleh 2 ahli yaitu validasi ahli media dan validasi ahli materi, yaitu dengan memberikan lembar angket. Berdasarkan hasil tingkat kevalidan media pembelajaran video animasi yang dikembangkan peneliti, dengan materi Do You Like Swimming? diperoleh persentase 95,8% oleh ahli media dengan kategori sangat valid dan 97,7% oleh ahli materi dengan kategori sangat valid. Tingkat kepraktisan media pembelajaran video animasi yang dikembangkan peneliti dengan materi Do You Like Swimming? memperoleh persentase 93,75% oleh guru bahasa Inggris kelas III-A UPT SPF SDN 101854 Sei Mencirim,memperoleh persentase 83,75% dari uji coba kelompok kecil dan 86,04% dari uji coba lapangan/uji coba seluruh siswa kelas III-A UPT SPF SDN 101854 Sei Mencirim.
