Abstract

The Growth of Sweet Corn (Zea mays saccharata sturt L) With Soil Tillage and Number of Seeds Per Hole. This study aims to determine the effect of the number of seeds per hole and the application of several soil processing methods on the growth of sweet corn (Zea mays Saccharata Sturt. L). This study used a Split Plot Design (RPT) using 2 treatment factors, namely. The first factor is the soil processing method (P) as the main plot consisting of P0 (no tillage), P1 (1 x tillage) and P2 (2x tillage). The second factor is the provision of seeds per planting hole (B) as a subplot consisting of B1 (1 seed per planting hole), B2 (2 seeds per planting hole) and B3 (3 seeds per planting hole). The results of the study showed that the treatment of 1x tillage had a significant effect on increasing growth and production of 1 x tillage at 2 seeds per planting hole.
